GLOVEBOX
Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
Glovebox helps you keep your vehicle's maintenance history, warranty, and
documents in one place. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account. Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code. No passwords are stored.
- Vehicle data. The vehicles, odometer readings, service records, warranty details, and documents you add.
- Photos you upload. Receipts, warranty contracts, vehicle documents, and car photos are stored privately and linked only to your account.
- Basic usage data. Anonymous events (such as a shop search) that help us improve the product.
How your data is used
- To build and display your service history, maintenance schedule, and warranty compliance.
- Photos of receipts and contracts are processed by an automated document-reading service to extract the details (shop, date, mileage, services). They are not used to train models.
- To send the maintenance reminders you enable, generated on your device.
What we never do
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your records with dealers, insurers, or advertisers.
- Your documents are never public — unless you explicitly create a shareable vehicle report, which you can deactivate at any time.
Shareable reports
If you create a vehicle report link, the records you chose to include are
viewable by anyone with that link until you deactivate it in the app.
Storage
Data is stored with Supabase (database and file storage) on infrastructure
hosted in the United States, protected by row-level security so only your
account can access your records.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and every record, photo, and
document attached to it from inside the app: Settings → Delete account.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
